Which lays a greater emphasis on design and development of Electrical circuits, Electrical machines, Power systems and Power Electronics and other related courses Electrical Engineering? Electrical and Electronics Engineering concentrates on the development of new and renewable energy sources such as Solar energy, Wind and Tidal Power, Biomass, Biodiesel, Ethanol and others. The department imparts the practical enhanced knowledge to the students on the fundamentals of electronic systems, as well as acknowledging the multi-disciplinary nature of the field. Also closely coherent with Computation and Neural Systems, Bioengineering, Computer Science and Control Systems. It offers the opportunity for study and research, both theoretical and experimental, in a wide variety of subjects, including Power quality engineering, Protection and switch gear, Measurements and instrumentation, Electric drives and Signal processing. Department is fully equipped with the state-of-the-art laboratories with software systems for enhancing the knowledge.
